What’s Creative Café？

Yamagata City of Film organizes a monthly event named Creative Café, where people in Yamagata can exchange opinions and get to know each other without concerning the differences in age, sex, and nationality.

There are two types of Creative Café:

1. an event inviting a guest speaker from culture or film section to talk, discuss or do workshop
2. a tea time providing a space and a cup of tea for people to sit and talk about different themes

The most interesting part of this project is that the council staffs take each turn to organize the event  so that every events are unique and different!

The “Tea Party” is a new sub-network platform where citizens can gather, meet, talk, and exchange. This is more casual than usual Creative Café so anyone can stop by at any time!

We will serve a cup of tea and citizens are free to talk to anyone ☕️

Room 5, Yamagata Manabikan

1-5-19 Hon-cho, Yamagata City, Yamagata

• Free parking
• Take “Benichan bus” to “Honcho” bus stop and 3 minutes walk to the venue

【Admission】

• FREE
• No application required
• However, it will be very kind if you let us know your participation on our Facebook event page. We can know how many people are coming to the event so that we can prepare enough drinks and snacks 🙂
