The 1st Films into the Woods of Nishi-Zao

On coming Sunday, April 23rd, the 1st “Films into the Woods of Nishi-Zao” will be held in Yamagata City!

For this time, they will screen “Futari no Tougenkyo”, a very popular documentary film of Japan.

This is a story of an old married couple, who loved the life in the mountain.
Surrounded by the mountains of Nishizao, this event aims to provide you an opportunity to experience the actual life in the mountain.
We are very sorry that it does not have an English subtitle.

However, it will be a great opportunity for you to enjoy the atmosphere of Japanese documentary films and to visit the beautiful mountain of Yamagata.
