The 30th Creative Café｜Online Premiere of “Yamagata Kokeshi” and “Yamagata Ramen” (20 and 21 March 2021))
◆ EVENT OUTLINE
The “Yamagata Renaissance Project” is a project to produce a series of films that rediscover Yamagata’s culture and appeal and support local filmmakers. For the 2020 edition of the project, we newly produced two short films. Mr. SATO Koichi directed “Yamagata Kokeshi,” which has traditional kokeshi dolls only found in the Tohoku region. Mr. SATO Tetsuya filmed “Yamagata Ramen,” in which Yamagata is the most ramen-eating city in Japan. The 30th Creative Café will be an online premiere of the two films. (no English subtitles) It is free online streaming, and no need to register. Please enjoy!
